India will most likely be entering the Super 4 stage after topping Group A, while Oman have lost both their matches.

India won chasing a modest total in the first two matches against the UAE and arch-rival Pakistan. Suryakumar Yadav might want to bat first to give some game time for the middle order, especially for players like SanjuSamon and Hardik Pandya. The top order is unlikely to change but India could rest Jasprit Bumrah against and could pave way for Arshdeep Singh or Harshit Rana.

Oman, on the other hand, are unlikely to make any changes. The tournament debutants, have lost against Pakistan and United Arab Emirates so far.

IND vs Oman Sheikh Zayed Stadium Pitch Report

the first six matches at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi saw scores hover around 160 runs. Teams batting first have emerged victorious in three of these matches. The pattern indicates that the pitch can get slower to bat on as the match goes on. Given these statistics, opting to bat first after winning the toss could prove to be a strategic advantage. Captains may look to capitalize on the conditions early on and put pressure on the opposition with scoreboard pressure.
