Highest T20 Score: India creates record for 2nd highest T20I score against Bangladesh, Here's the top 10 list

The Indian cricket team achieved the second-highest T20I total today, scoring 297/6 in their final match against Bangladesh.

Sanju Samson was the standout performer, scoring his first T20I century and the second-fastest in the format for India. He reached his hundred in just 40 balls, finishing with 111 runs off 47 deliveries, including eight sixes and 11 fours. Samson formed a remarkable partnership of 173 runs off 70 balls with skipper Suryakumar Yadav, who added 75 runs from 35 balls, hitting five sixes and eight fours to complement Samson's innings effectively.

In the final overs, Hardik Pandya (47 off 18 balls, with 4 fours and 4 sixes) and Riyan Parag (34 off 13 balls, including 1 four and 4 sixes) kept the momentum going, contributing 70 runs for the fourth wicket and pushing India closer to the 300-run mark.

The highest T20I score remains with Nepal, who tallied 314/3 against Mongolia in 2023. Following India's 297 today, Afghanistan's 278/3 against Ireland in 2019 now ranks third.
