Mullanpur: KL Rahul and Sai Sudharsan helmed batting with confident knocks, leading India to a settled 96 for one at lunch on the first day of the one-off Test against Afghanistan here on Saturday.

At the break, Rahul (37) and Sudharsan (32) were at crease after Yashasvi Jaiswal fell to pacer Mohammed Saleem for 24.

The second wicket stand has so far produced 55 runs.
