India tops World Test Championship Rankings after Gabba win— BCCI announces a ₹5 crore team bonus

- India overcame all odds and made history today by defeating Australia in the fourth Test and retaining the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
- India moved to the top of the ICC World Test Championship ranking list.
- BCCI has announced a bonus of ₹5 crore for the Indian cricket team after their historic win in the fourth and final test against Australia.
India chased the mammoth target of 328 on the final day of the match, at The Gabba, a venue where Australia remained undefeated in the last 32 years, till today. India won by three wickets, achieving the target of 328 in 97 overs. Rishabh Pant remained unbeaten at 89, while Shubham Gill and Cheteshwar Pujara scored 91 and 56 runs respectively.
India now ranks first in the ICC World Test Championship with over 430 points. New Zealand secured second place with over 420 points and Australia ranks third with 332 points.
