India to tour Australia in October for 3 ODIs & 5 T20Is; Check full schedule

Cricket Australia (CA) on Sunday announced that the Indian team will travel to Australia later this year for a multi-format white-ball series, featuring three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).

The series will take place between October 19 and November 8, with the ODIs scheduled as day-night fixtures and the T20Is as night games.

This series marks a historic first for Australian cricket, as the 2025-26 season will feature men's international matches in all eight Australian states and territories. As part of this expansion, India will play in Canberra and Hobart during the T20 leg of the tour.


The tour will commence with a three-match ODI series in Perth, Adelaide, and Sydney, before shifting to the T20Is, which will be played in venues including Melbourne, Brisbane, and Gold Coast’s Carrara Stadium.

India returns to Australian shores following the thrilling five-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy in 2024-25, which saw record-breaking attendance figures.

"We smashed many records for attendance, viewing audiences and digital engagement last summer and we're confident that this incredible momentum will continue throughout what promises to be an engrossing season," Cricket Australia's chief executive Todd Greenberg said.

"We are extremely grateful for the cooperation and support of all our government, venue, broadcast and commercial partners who ensure Australia's national sport continues to deliver brilliant experiences in stadiums and drive participation across the country."
