India scores 358/9 in fourth ODI against Australia, Dhawan scores a ton

India lead the series 2-1, after it won the first ODI in Hyderabad by six wickets and the second ODI in Nagpur by eight runs.

Opener Shikhar Dhawan made 143 off 115 balls
India made 358 for nine against Australia in the fourth One-day International here Sunday. Opener Shikhar Dhawan was back amongst the runs with 143 off 115 balls while Rohit Sharma made 95.

Earlier, Virat Kohli won the toss and opted to bat.

India lead the series 2-1, after it won the first ODI in Hyderabad by six wickets and the second ODI in Nagpur by eight runs, before Australia pulled one back in the third ODI at Ranchi, winning by 32 runs.


The hosts have made four changes to their lineup. MS Dhoni has been rested for the final two ODIs and Rishabh Pant takes his spot, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar comes in for Mohammed Shami and Yuzvendra Chahal replaces Ravindra Jadeja as like-for-like replacements.

KL Rahul also returns for Ambati Rayudu in the top order as India experiments with options ahead of the World Cup in England and Wales, starting in May.

Australia has made two changes with paceman Jason Behrendoff in for spinner Nathan Lyon, while Ashton Turner is in for Marcus Stoinis.

The pitch at the Punjab Cricket Association appears to be the best batting track of the series, with a small covering of grass expected to favor the seamers early.
