India hosts 2023 Hockey World Cup in Odisha; 16 teams compete
The 2023 edition of the Men’s Hockey World Cup will start on Friday, January 13. India will take on Spain on the opening day in Rourkela. Sports Minister Anurag Thakur, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, International Hockey Federation Chairman Dilip Tirkey, and Hockey India Chairman Dilip Tirkey all attended the ceremony.
