India's captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and chose to bat in the high-stakes World Cup match against South Africa. The Indian team, which is the sole undefeated squad in the competition, remains unaltered.

South Africa, in contrast, has made a change by substituting bowler Gerald Coetzee with spinner Tabraiz Shamsi.
