IL T20 garners 108 million viewers on Zee's linear channels

The International League T20 (ILT20) has been watched by 108 million viewers on Zee's 10 linear channels, official broadcaster Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL) said in a statement quoting BARC data.

The tournament is airing on Zee Cinema (SD & HD), Zee Anmol Cinema, Zee Thirai, Zee Bangla Cinema, Zee Zest (SD & HD), &Pictures HD, &Flix (SD & HD) besides being streamed live on ZEE5 in India and globally.

ZEEL President – Business Rahul Johri said, “We are delighted with the overwhelming response for DP World ILT20’s inaugural edition. We believe that DP World ILT20 has the potential to garner a much stronger performance in the coming weeks.”


The franchise-style tournament, which kicked off on 13th January, features six teams and 34 matches are being held across the UAE.

The league’s franchise teams include Abu Dhabi Knight Riders (Kolkata Knight Riders), Desert Vipers (Lancer Capital), Dubai Capitals (GMR), Gulf Giants (Adani Sportsline), MI Emirates (Reliance Industries), and Sharjah Warriors (Capri Global).

The broadcaster has roped in PayTM, Kurkure Playz, Kent RO, and Gulf Oil as sponsors for the tournament.
