Team India embarks on their World Cup journey on October 8, clashing with Australia at Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium. Apart from the highly anticipated matches against Pakistan and Australia, India faces formidable challenges from New Zealand in Dharamsala and England in Lucknow, the only two teams that managed to defeat them in the 2019 World Cup.

WHEN AND WHERE TO WATCH

The day games begin at 10:30 a.m., and the day-night games begin at 2 p.m and those interested in watching the ODI World Cup 2023 will be broadcast live on the Star Sports Network in India, with the Disney+ Hotstar app and website enabling live streaming for all 48 matches.

Teams must win seven of their nine matches in order to advance to the semi-finals. In the event of a tie, the total number of victories will be used as the deciding factor, with the net run rate playing an important part.
