HYDERABAD: Sky Zone Trampoline Park, a global chain of family entertainment centers, has opened its centre in Hyderabad, a first in India and the second for Asia and will be opening 50 more centres in the next five years in South India alone.

Hyderabad will house two centres of Sky Zone, one in Gandipet that will be operational from July 1 and another in Sharath Mall in Kothaguda junction by the end of this year along with centres in Chennai, Bangalore, Cochin and Visakhapatnam.

The company has awarded franchise rights for the entire South India to R 4 Enterprises, a subsidiary of US-based Lead IT Corporation, a $100 million tech company. Sky Zone has a chain of 300 indoor family entertainment centers across the world in the US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and the UK.

Ram Talluri, managing director, Lead IT Corporation, said, “We will be investing approximately Rs 20 crore in each of these upcoming properties while also looking at a smaller version of these for smaller cities. While the larger parks would spread across an area of 30,000 square feet, the smaller versions would take up 4,000-10,000 sft.”

On the company’s aggressive expansion even before formally starting their business here in India, Talluri said that the success rate for this concept is 99% around the world.
