NEW DELHI: The Hero Action Team scaled new heights in a first-of-its-kind mountain biking expedition that went through a treacherous 15 km ride from a camp in Kufri to Shimla in heavy snowfall.

India's first professionally managed mountain biking team went through the journey at a time when all vehicular movements were closed on the route due to heavy snowfall.

On the completion of the expedition Pankaj Munjal, Co-Chairman and Managing Director of Hero Cycles said, "We are very proud of the Hero Action Team and congratulate them on this feat. What is remarkable about this team is that they constantly try to push their limits and challenge themselves by setting newer and higher milestones and accomplishing near to impossible tasks."

This ride, which on a normal day would have taken not more than 30 minutes, took more than 3 hours to cover. Hero Action Team comprising of Devender, Gurman Reen, Sanchit Sood along with the support team of Ashish Sood, Akshit, Sushant and Vicky weathered extreme conditions to reach their destination.

Speaking about their achievement Ashish Sood, Manager, Hero Action Team said, "This was one the toughest rides that Hero Action Team has ever undertaken."
