Here are major recommendations of Lodha panel on BCCI approved by SC
SC accepts Lodha panel view on having CAG representative in BCCI.Office bearers in BCCI should not be beyond age of 70 years.

A bench headed by CJI TS Thakur, said that it would leave issues such as legalising betting and application of RTI to the cash rich body to the Parliament.
Following the SC verdict which gives a major blow to netas. Here is the list of some major suggestions that have been approved:
1> Ministers have been barred from being a member of BCCI
2> The apex court accepted the recommendations of the panel to have a CAG nominee in the BCCI
3>The court also accepted the recommendation that one person should hold one post in cricket administration to avoid any conflict of interest and scrapping of all other administrative committees in the BCCI after CAG nominee comes in.
4> Office bearers in BCCI should not be beyond age of 70 years
5> One state one vote recommendation accepted
6> The court said that the states like Maharashtra and Gujarat having more than one cricket association will have voting rights on rotational basis.
7> The bench accepted the panel's recommendation that there should be a player's association in the BCCI and the funding of players' association accepted while leaving it to the Board to decide the extent of funding.
Lodha Committee on January 4 had recommended administrative changes at the troubled BCCI. The court gives BCCI six months to implement these recommendations.
