Gujarat Titans pick Dasun Shanaka to replace injured Glenn Phillips for IPL 2025

Gujarat Titans (GT) have signed Sri Lankan cricketer Dasun Shanaka as a replacement for the injured Glenn Phillips for the rest of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season.

Shanaka is an experienced all-rounder. He has played 102 T20 Internationals for Sri Lanka, scoring 1,456 runs and taking 33 wickets. He has also appeared in 71 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and 6 Test matches for his country.

This won’t be Shanaka’s first time with Gujarat Titans. He was part of the squad in 2023 and played three matches for the team. GT have signed him this season for Rs 75 lakh.
