The new salary structure for IPL players includes an auction purse, performance pay, and match fees, with the latter set at Rs 7.5 lakh per game for the next season. Teams can retain up to six players using retention or right to match cards, the most in IPL history.
BCCI has revised the rules for this year, allowing teams to retain a maximum of six players, with up to five being capped players and two uncapped.
