The integration will allow fans to access real-time insights, tactical analysis and historical data during live matches, both within broadcasts and through Google Search.

Users will be able to ask conversational queries about match situations, player performance and strategy, moving beyond traditional scorecards to more detailed analysis. The feature will also enable fans to revisit past matches, compare captaincy decisions and view AI-generated summaries of key moments.
BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia said the initiative would “fundamentally transform the fan experience”, while Google India’s vice president of marketing Shekar Khosla said the move reflects growing demand for deeper and more interactive sports insights.
The partnership comes amid a broader push by technology platforms to embed generative AI into live sports to increase engagement and retain users.
