Hat-tricks in the Indian Premier League (IPL) are rare moments of brilliance that highlight a bowler’s dominance and match-turning ability.
The first-ever IPL hat-trick was taken by Lakshmipathy Balaji in 2008, and since then, several elite bowlers have delivered hat-tricks under immense pressure.
In the latest, Yuzvendra Chahal joined this elite club once again in 2025, registering his second IPL hat-trick against Chennai Super Kings, and becoming only the third bowler after Amit Mishra and Yuvraj Singh to do it more than once.
