Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya and Natasa Stankovic announced on Thursday that they are ending their four-year marriage. In the midst of intense speculation about their marriage, the pair issued a joint statement on Instagram announcing their decision to part ways.

The couple's statement read, "After four years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest of both of us.”

Hardik and Natasa also emphasized their commitment to co-parenting their three-year-old son, Agastya. "This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect, and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family," the statement continued.


A video of the cricket player's victory speech from the T20 World Cup went viral shortly after the announcement. In the video, an emotional Hardik found it impossible to hold back his tears as he talked about the "tough" six months. The cricket player added, "Jab mujhe rona bhi tha, mein nahi roya," as he thought back on his personal hardships and the taunting he had experienced.
