FanCode scores exclusive rights to stream 31st Sultan Azlan Shah Cup

FanCode announced on Tuesday that it has secured exclusive streaming rights to the 31st Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, which will take place in Malaysia's Ipoh from November 23 to 30.

The entire tournament will stream live on FanCode across its mobile app, TV platforms—including Android TV, Jio STB, Amazon Fire TV Stick, Samsung TV—and its website. Matches will also be available via VI Movies & TV, Playbox, Tata Play Binge, JioTV and other partner platforms.

The hockey tournament will feature six international teams, with five-time champions India competing against Belgium, Korea, Malaysia, Canada and New Zealand. India, last crowned champions in 2010 and runners-up in 2019, will be led by captain Sanjay.


The squad also features Amit Rohidas, Jugraj Singh, and Dilpreet Singh, as head coach Craig Fulton aims to build momentum ahead of next year’s World Cup and Asian Games.

India’s campaign begins on November 23 against Korea, and will be followed by a crucial match against Belgium the next day.

The team will face hosts Malaysia on November 26, New Zealand on November 27, and Canada on November 29. All six teams will play each other in a round-robin format, with the top two qualifying for the final on November 30.
