England all-rounder Ben Stokes announces retirement from ODI cricket
England all-rounder Ben Stokes on Monday announced that he will be retiring from one-day internationals (ODI). Stokes will play his last ODI for England on Tuesday in Durham against South Africa.

"Three formats are just unsustainable for me now. Not only do I feel that my body is letting me down because of the schedule and what is expected of us, but I also feel that I am taking place of another player who can give Jos (Buttler) and the rest of the team their all," he said.
"As hard as a decision as this was to come to, it's not as hard as dealing with the fact that I can't give my teammates 100% of myself in this format anymore," he wrote on Twitter.

His unbeaten 84 helped to send the match into a Super Over as England claimed their first 50-over World Cup title in the most thrilling of circumstances.
Rob Key, managing director of England men's cricket, hailed Stokes' "incredible international career" in the 50-overs format.
"I know this must have been a tough decision, but I completely understand why he has reached this conclusion," Key said.
