DHL signs up as official logistics and timing partner for Indian Super League 2015

NEW DELHI: Logistics provider DHL has partnered with the football league Hero Indian Super League as its official logistics and timing partner in 2015.

As the official logistics partner, DHL will deliver back-end logistics support for the tournament, the company said in a release.

DHL also announced the 'DHL Winning Pass’ Award per team, which will recognise players who contributed the highest number of assists during the tournament, creating opportunities for their team to score goals, it said.

We are partners with Manchester United, one of the world’s biggest football clubs, FC Bayern Munich and Copa América. DHL delivers the Rugby World Cup 2015 and recently partnered with the Chinese Football Association Super League. Our partnership with ISL further strengthens our commitment to the sport and support to Indian football players to compete internationally.”

An ISL spokesperson said DHL has a proven record of credibility, commitment and passion for sports, having its association with renowned sports events across the globe.

Hero ISL is scheduled to kick off from October 3, 2015 in Chennai with the grand finale in Goa on December 20, 2015.
