The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi is set to host its first match of the season as Delhi Capitals take on Mumbai Indians at 7:30 pm on Sunday.

DC have remained the only unbeaten team in the tournament, winning all four of their matches so far. KL Rahul has been the start performer with two match winning innings in the last two matches against CSK and RCB. Faf du Plessis, Axar Patel and Ashutosh Sharma have all been in good form. Their concern will be with opener Jake Fraser-McGurk who is yet to fire.

Mitchell Starc has been leading the pace attack brilliantly, striking with the new and the old balls. Mukesh Kumar has also done well. Kuldeep Yadav has been one of the best spinners of IPL 2025, while Axar Patel would like to find his rhythm in bowling as well.

MI, on the other hand, are a little short of confidence with just one win in five matches They are struggling with their the top order, with Rohit Sharma and Will Jacks searching for runs. Ryan Rickelton has had just one good innings. Suryakumar Yadav is not at his best but is still getting the runs, while Tilak Varma seemed to have found form in the last match. Naman Dhir has done well in the limited opportunities he has had. Captain Hardik Pandya, however, has been in great form with both bat and ball and will hope to instill some inspiration to the team.

The return of Jasprit Bumrah is a massive boost. However, other bowlers have not been at their best. Trent Boult has given them early wickets but has leaked at the death. Deepak Chahar and Mitchell Santner have not been in great form either. Youngsters Vignesh Puthur and Ashwani Kumar have been good but have not got a consistent run.
