CSK IPL schedule 2025: Chennai Super Kings' matches, dates & timings

Five-time champion Chennai Super Kings are going to start their IPL 2025 campaign at Chennai's M.A. Chidambaram Stadium against Mumbai Indians on March 23. The two teams are set to meet again on April 20 at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. CSK will play four of their first six matches at their home ground, Chepauk.

The Ruturaj Gaikwad-led CSK had failed to reach the playoffs in the previous season, finishing fifth with seven wins and seven losses.

The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League season is set to kick off with a high-octane clash between defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at Eden Gardens on March 22.

Eden Gardens, the home ground of IPL 2024 title winners KKR, will also be the venue for the grand finale on May 25.

Additionally, the venue will also host Qualifier 2 on May 23.

The other two play-off matches -- Qualifier 1 on May 20 and the Eliminator on May 21 -- will take place in Hyderabad, the home ground of 2024 runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Here is the full schedule of CSK for IPL 2025:

CSK will begin their IPL 2025 campaign against Mumbai Indians on March 23 in Chennai at 7:30 PM IST. Their next home fixture is against Royal Challengers Bengaluru on March 28, followed by an away game against Rajasthan Royals in Guwahati on March 30. CSK will then face Delhi Capitals at home on April 5 in an afternoon match at 3:30 PM before traveling to New Chandigarh to take on Punjab Kings on April 8. They return to Chepauk to play Kolkata Knight Riders on April 11 before heading to Lucknow to face Lucknow Super Giants on April 14.

CSK will meet Mumbai Indians again on April 20 in Mumbai, followed by a home game against Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 25. They continue their campaign at Chepauk against Punjab Kings on April 30 before traveling to Bengaluru to play RCB on May 3. Their final away matches include KKR in Kolkata on May 7 and Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad on May 18. CSK’s last league-stage home match will be against Rajasthan Royals on May 12.

The playoffs will begin on May 20, with Qualifier 1 in Hyderabad, followed by the Eliminator on May 21 at the same venue. Qualifier 2 is scheduled for May 23 in Kolkata, while the IPL 2025 final will take place on May 25 at Eden Gardens.
