The Board of Control for Cricket in India has addressed the rumors regarding the India-Sri Lanka ODI match.
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday dismissed speculation that the ODI match between India and Sri Lanka which was scheduled to take place in Delhi had been shifted to Ahmedabad, saying no decision had been taken.

BCCI Honorary Secretary Devajit Saikia said reports which mentioned a change in venue were inaccurate and told the media to only rely on official communication from the board for updated regarding the schedule. He added that bilateral matches are primarily allotted according to a standard policy.

"Reports suggesting that the India–Sri Lanka ODI match scheduled in Delhi may be shifted to Ahmedabad are not accurate. There has been no such decision by the BCCI. We request media colleagues to kindly refer to official BCCI communications for any updates regarding the schedule. Further, it needs to be reiterated that bilateral matches are primarily allotted by following a standard policy," Saikia said.
