Ceat forays into cricket gear business
Ceat has had a long relationship with cricket and the company believes that this is a marquee initiative towards strengthening that equation.

"We are very excited to launch the Ceat Cricket Gear, especially, at a moment when cricket fever has the country in its grips," Ceat VP Marketing Nitish Bajaj said.

The company's range include the whole set - bats, pads, batting gloves and helmets which are available in both junior and adult categories, Ceat said in a statement.
"I am very confident that our new venture will be able to provide a very sturdy and reliable set of cricket gear for both recreational and professional purposes," Bajaj said.
The company's cricket gear, which include bats in English and Kashmiri willow variants, are available online on Amazon and Flipkart. The products will also be available at Ceat outlets across the country.
This year, Ceat has tied up with Pepsi IPL for the 'Strategic Time Out' segment. The company has also brought in former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee as brand ambassador for Ceat Cricket Ratings.
