The BCCI on Friday announced that the IPL match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), originally set for April 6 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, has been rescheduled to April 8 at the same venue.

The change comes after Kolkata Police informed the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) about security concerns due to Ram Navami celebrations in the city. Authorities recommended shifting the game to Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 3:30 PM, and BCCI has accepted the request. The rest of the IPL schedule remains unchanged, as per the official press release.

With this adjustment, Sunday, April 6, will now feature only one match—Sunrisers Hyderabad vs. Gujarat Titans at 7:30 PM (Match No. 20), as originally planned. Meanwhile, Tuesday, April 8, will be a double-header, with the KKR vs. LSG match in the afternoon, followed by Punjab Kings vs. Chennai Super Kings (Match No. 22) in New Chandigarh in the evening.
