Bharat Taxi partners with Delhi Capitals as official mobility partner for IPL 2026

Ride-hailing cooperative firm Bharat Taxi has announced a partnership with Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Delhi Capitals as their official mobility partner for the 2026 season.

Under the agreement, Bharat Taxi will run on-ground activations and digital campaigns during the tournament, including dedicated match-day travel support for fans travelling to matches across Delhi NCR.

"Delhi is an important market for us, and this partnership with the Delhi Capitals strengthens our presence here," said Col. Himanshu Sharma, CEO of Bharat Taxi, in a statement.


"With the cricket season leading to higher travel demand on match days, we aim to offer reliable and accessible mobility."

Sunil Gupta, CEO of Delhi Capitals, said the partnership was aimed at improving the match-day experience for supporters, adding that "having a reliable mobility partner helps fans get to the stadium on time."

The cooperative, which operates across Delhi NCR and select cities in Gujarat, said it has begun driver registrations in Chandigarh and Lucknow as part of a broader expansion. It counts more than 3,76,000 registered drivers on its platform.
