BCCI unveils IPL 2026 Fan Parks across 15 cities including Rohtak, Bhopal, Nagpur & Meerut
In an exciting move to bring the thrill of IPL to every corner of India, the BCCI has revealed the schedule for the 2026 season's Fan Parks. Kicking off on March 28, fans in 15 cities throughout 11 states can immerse themselves in the IPL atmosphe...

The Fan Parks will be organised in clusters across regions, North, South, East and West, with five venues operational each weekend.

The first leg includes Rohtak, Bhopal, Nagpur, Tumakuru and Krishnanagar, followed by cities such as Mathura, Jodhpur and Bhubaneswar in the second week. The third weekend will see events in Meerut, Nadiad, Ratnagiri, Coimbatore and Rourkela.
At each venue, matches will be screened live, accompanied by a mix of activities including music performances, food stalls, children’s play areas and interactive installations such as virtual batting zones and fan engagement booths.
Moreover, the cricket body has notified that schedules for subsequent weeks will be released later.

IPL 2026
The IPL 2026 season is set to begin on March 28, with defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad in the opening match. The tournament will run until May 31, spanning over two months and featuring an expanded schedule of 84 matches — up from 74 in previous editions.The BCCI has, for now, released only the first phase of the schedule, comprising the opening 20 matches. The staggered announcement comes in view of upcoming State Assembly elections, which are expected to influence venue logistics and security arrangements.

This edition will feature 10 teams competing in a full league format, followed by the playoffs - Qualifier 1, Eliminator, Qualifier 2 and the final. Matches will be played across multiple venues, with the home-and-away structure largely intact, though some adjustments have been made. Rajasthan Royals will begin their home leg in Guwahati, while RCB are also expected to host select fixtures in Raipur.
The opening phase features a packed run of fixtures, including high-profile clashes such as Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders on March 29 and RCB vs Chennai Super Kings on April 5. As in previous seasons, weekday matches are scheduled for evening slots, while weekends will feature double-headers with afternoon and evening games.
The early phase of the tournament overlaps with the Fan Park rollout, enabling organisers to align key fixtures with on-ground fan engagement initiatives across multiple cities.
