BCCI media rights: Star India wins e-auction for Rs 6,138.10 cr
Concluding a long e-auction process, which ran into third-day, Star India has emerged as the winner of the global media rights of the international and domestic cricket played in India for the next five years. While the auction also saw aggressive bidding from Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) and Reliance Jio, it was Star India’s bid of Rs 6,138.10 crore, which decided the winner.
