Following India’s dramatic win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025 final, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a prize of Rs 21 crore for the team and support staff.

India defeated Pakistan in a high-stakes contest at the Dubai International Stadium, chasing 147 runs and winning by five wickets.

The win marked India’s ninth Asia Cup title and came after standout performances from Tilak Varma (69 not out), Shivam Dube (33 off 22 balls), and Rinku Singh, who hit the winning runs and had pre-tournament manifested this moment.


The Rs 21 crore prize would be distributed among players, coaches, support staff, and team officials, acknowledging their efforts in a tournament marked by tense rivalry, on-field controversies, and intense media scrutiny.

The board’s announcement comes amid nationwide celebrations, with fans lauding India’s performance and the team’s ability to deliver under pressure. After the victory, the BCCI said, “3 blows. 0 response. Asia Cup Champions. Message delivered.”
