PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen win Hylo Open titles

Saarbrucken (Germany): PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen made it a double delight for India, claiming the women’s and men’s singles titles with straightgame victories in the finals of the Hylo Open Super 500 badminton tournament on Sunday.

Former world champion Sindhu displayed excellent control and precision in her strokeplay to register a commanding 21-12, 21-14 win over eighth seed and world No. 25 Line Højmark Kjærsfeldt of Denmark in the 39-minute women’s singles final. It was her second title of the season.

Later in the day, Lakshya outwitted Jonatan Christie 21-17, 21-10 in the men’s singles final to complete a memorable double for India.
