New Zealand all-rounder Amelia Kerr crossed a major milestone in her career, claiming her 100th wicket in Women’s One Day Internationals during the ongoing Women's ODI World Cup. She dismissed Phoebe Litchfield for 45 to bring up the landmark wicket, becoming only the third Kiwi woman to achieve this feat.

Kerr, known for her twin strengths as a batter and a spinner, continues to strengthen her all-round credentials. Though her official record on Wikipedia still lists 99 ODI wickets as of the latest update, the recent match has now pushed her into the triple-digit club.

Australia skipper Alyssa Healy won the toss and opted to bat against New Zealand in their opening game of the ICC Women's ODI World Cup game in Indore.

Australia have left out seasoned pacer Megan Schutt from the playing XI in this game, replacing her with Darcie Brown.
