The Ashes 2025 series gets underway on November 21 in Perth, where England launch their latest attempt to regain the urn on Australian soil.

The challenge is significant—England have not won an Ashes series in Australia since 2010–11 and have slipped to defeat in 13 of their previous 15 Tests Down Under.

Australia, meanwhile, start the first Test without key figures: regular captain Pat Cummins is unavailable due to a back injury, while fast bowler Josh Hazlewood has also been sidelined after suffering a hamstring issue.
