Australia-India ODI: Barinder Sran wants to learn quickly
Indian team's new kid on the block Barinder Sran admitted that his debut has allowed some ‘pressure to be released’ but at the same time he needs to work on some specific areas including bowling effective "slow bumpers".

The Punjab left-arm seamer made an impressive debut in the first ODI against Australia taking 3/56 in a losing cause. "I think a bit of pressure that was there before my debut has been released. Now I have to work on specific areas. I tried to bowl slow bumpers but it did not work out. I am happy in general that I was able to bowl good areas but I also sprayed a bit," Sran told the BCCI.TV. The left-arm seamer was told about his debut a day before at the team meeting. "I was told at the team meeting. It was like a dream come true. You always dream of winning an India cap. Everyone wished me luck and the seniors told me that they feel that I have the potential to do well."

Aaron Finch was his first wicket and he said it was an amazing feeling. "I was very happy. David Warner's wicket was also important as he is a big player. But I would have been happier if we could have broken the partnership (Steve Smith-George Bailey). If we could have defended, I would have been happier," Sran said.
