Asian Games 2014: Varsha Gautham, Aishwarya Nedunchezhiyan at top spot in sailing event

Varsha Gautham and Aishwarya Nedunchezhiyan occupied the top spot after two races in Women's 29er- Two Person Dinghy event at the Asian Games 2014.

INCHEON:Indian sailors Varsha Gautham and Aishwarya Nedunchezhiyan occupied the top spot after two races in Women's 29er- Two Person Dinghy event on the first day of competition in the discipline at the Asian Games here today.

Varsha and Aishwarya were on top of the heap of six teams in the 12-race event which will continue till September 30.

12-year-old Chitresh Tatha, meanwhile, occupied seventh spot after two races in the Optimist-Men's One Person Dinghy event at Wangsan Sailing Marina Area here.

Ramya Saravanan was at sixth after two races in Optimist- Women's One Person Dinghy event while Nethra Kumnan occupied fifth after two races in Laser Radial-Women's One Person Dinghy event.
