INCHEON: The men's shooting team of Vijay Kumar, Pemba Tamang and Gurpreet Singh won India's second silver medal at the ongoing 17th Asian Games with their second-placed finish in the 25m centre fire pistol event, here today.

They pipped South Korea by just one point as they finished with a score of 1740 while the hosts ended with 1739.

The gold went to China (1742). 2012 Olympic silver medallist Vijay shot 100, 98, 96 in his Rapid series while Tamang shot 99, 97, 97 and Gurpreet 95, 96, 97.

In the precision, Vijay shot 95, 94, 96, Tamang had scores of 93, 96, 99 and Gurpreet managed 98, 99, 95.

Saurav Ghosal had won India's first silver medal after losing the men's singles final.
