India’s dominance at the top of the ICC T20I batting rankings continued this week, with Abhishek Sharma and Ishan Kishan retaining the No.1 and No.2 positions respectively.

Abhishek leads the chart with 875 rating points, narrowly ahead of Kishan, who sits on 871. India’s strong presence in the top 10 is further underlined by Tilak Varma in sixth place and T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav in seventh.

There was limited movement among the top-ranked batters this week, with England’s Jos Buttler moving up one spot to eighth, while New Zealand’s Tim Seifert slipped a place to ninth.

The biggest gains, however, came from South Africa’s emerging talent Connor Esterhuizen, who surged from outside the top 100 to 39th after an impressive debut series against New Zealand. The 24-year-old amassed 200 runs across five matches — double the tally of any other batter in the series — earning Player of the Series honours as South Africa edged a 3-2 win.

New Zealand wicketkeeper Tim Robinson also made progress, climbing two spots to joint 32nd following his 81 runs in the series.

In the bowling rankings, Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan continues to lead the charts. India’s Varun Chakaravarthy and Jasprit Bumrah remain steady in second and fifth positions respectively.

Among all-rounders, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza continues to hold the top position, with India’s Hardik Pandya in second place.

Coetzee was one of the standout performers overall, jumping 14 places to joint 72nd in the all-rounders’ rankings after picking up eight wickets and scoring 18 runs in the series against New Zealand.
