Opening the batting in the Women’s One Day Trophy at Alur, Karnataka, Jadhav broke multiple records as she overtook Smriti Mandhana's record for the highest U19 score by an Indian.
Jadhav's marathon innings included 42 fours and 16 sixes as she propelled Mumbai to the highest score by an Indian women’s domestic side across all tournaments and age groups.
The teenager is the first Indian (man or woman) to record a triple century across any BCCI-organised limited-overs tournament.
Jadhav started playing cricket when she was eight years old and had listed herself in the WPL 2025 auction that was held in December. However, marked among the youngest players in the mini-auction, she found no bidders.
Jemimah Rodrigues is my idol
In an interview with Opening Door, Jadhav said that her role model was fellow Mumbaikar Jemimah Rodrigues. “There is one player who I think is my cricketing idol—Jemimah Rodrigues.”“I love the way she handles her teammates, the energy she gets into the team, her game, and her energy on the field. I am aiming for the National team. I also want to represent India at the World Cup,” she said.
Speaking of her best moment in her short cricketing career Jadhav said, “It was the time I scored my first century (163) in a mixed team. This was in Pune a few years ago and the teams had a mix of boys and girls. That gave me the confidence that I could do well.”
