'You don't even let us get close to aircraft...': IAF Chief ‘teases’ US with hard facts on F-35

Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal AP Singh jokingly took a dig at the US over its offer of F-35 stealth fighter jets to India, saying, “Your people don’t even let us go near the aircraft, and you are talking about selling it to us.” Speaking alongside US Pacific Air Forces commander General Kevin Schneider during Exercise Tarang Shakti 2026 in Jodhpur, Singh clarified that the US had made no formal offer to sell F-35s to India.
