‘What Is Your Day Like?’: PM Modi on India’s ease-of-living, still a dream in many developed nations

At ET WLF 2026, PM Modi explained how reforms have become so deeply embedded in everyday life that Indians often don’t realise how transformative they are. From ordering food and shopping to making seamless digital payments, he highlighted how India’s digital infrastructure has made ease of living part of the daily routine. PM Modi said many of these conveniences were not possible in India before 2014, while similar levels of digital ease remain a challenge even in some developed countries.
