US forces board and destroy boat involved in allged narco-trafficking operations led by Los Cheneros
US forces intercepted and destroyed a floating refueling vessel allegedly supporting drug-trafficking operations linked to Ecuador’s Los Choneros organization, according to US Southern Command. The operation took place in the Eastern Pacific, where American personnel boarded and cleared the vessel before removing those aboard and sinking it.
