Mass walkout at UNGA as Israeli PM Netanyahu takes podium to deliver his speech
Dozens of UN delegates walked out as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu took the podium at the 81st UN General Assembly in New York. The Palestinian Mission had urged delegations to leave in protest. Netanyahu continued his address, calling those who walked out “moral cowards” and defending Israel’s actions.
