'Is Sarkar Ko Hataiye': Rahul Gandhi claims cops whispered as he was detained
Responding to a question about being dragged and allegedly punched during yesterday’s protest, Rahul Gandhi said, “I am used to it. It is a huge honour for me to stand with the people. I am happy to take many more punches.” Gandhi claimed that some of the police personnel escorting him after his detention privately expressed support for the protest.“The cops who were taking me away yesterday were whispering in my ear that I should remove this government. One was from Haryana and Rajasthan. Even police men are not happy with what is happening. They can see their children in this,” he said. While Rahul Gandhi was being dragged away by police during the Congress's flash protest outside Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence, the Leader of the Opposition claimed he received an unexpected message from the cops.
