India-US Army joint military exercise; M777 deployment demo, shoot & scoot drills in Rajasthan

The Indian and US armies conducted a lecture-cum-demonstration on the day deployment of the M777 Ultra-Light Howitzer at Mahajan Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan during Exercise Yudh Abhyas 2026. The drill covered gun deployment, local defence coordination, movement to alternate positions during counter-bombardment and ‘shoot-and-scoot’ drills. The exercise is being conducted simultaneously at Rajasthan and Auli.
