'Got 92% votes from areas linked to underworld, 70-75% from educated neighbourhoods': Nitin Gadkari
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari shared an unusual contrast in his electoral support, saying he received around 92% votes from areas linked to criminals, the underworld and red-light districts, compared with 70–75% in educated neighbourhoods. Gadkari clarified that such support does not mean he endorses illegal activities.
