‘Canada & EU are stronger together’: Carney rules out ‘third bloc’
Canadian PM Mark Carney’s “better manners” remark drew laughter at the European Parliament as he discussed closer Canada-EU ties and rejected the idea of creating a “third bloc”. Carney said Canada and Europe are stronger together and should deepen cooperation to protect sovereignty and build resilience.
