Gaganyaan: Why ISRO is keen to take humans to space
The Cabinet on Friday cleared the human spaceflight programme (Gaganyaan) being planned by ISRO for a decade. The space research organisation plans to send three astronauts to orbit around the earth for seven days. The mission cost is approximately Rs 10,000 crore and will be executed in 2022.
