Scientists working on anomaly after unsuccessful launch of IRNSS-1H: ISRO
SRIHARIKOTA: Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO) scientists are working on the anomaly following the unsuccessful launch of navigation satellite IRNSS-1H on board PSLV-C39 here today, an official release said.

The rocket had a normal lift off at 7 pm from the second launch pad. "All the flight events took place exactly as planned, except the heat shield separation", it said.

"This resulted in separation occurring within the heat shield. The satellite is inside the heat shield resulting in the unsuccessful mission," the release said.

Scientists have undertaken a detailed analysis "to identify the cause of the anomaly in the heat shield separation event", it added.
