ISRO successfully launched its PSLV rocket carrying seven Singaporean satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota at 6:31 am IST on July 30 and placed them into intended orbits.

According to ISRO, around 23 minutes after lift-off, the primary satellite got separated and it was followed by six other co-passenger satellites, which were deployed into the intended orbits sequentially.

All the satellites' purpose is aimed at serving customers in Singapore. DS-SAR is a Radar Imaging Earth Observation Satellite. The DS-SAR will play an important role in fulfilling the satellite imagery needs of the Government of Singapore's agencies.
