'Passing relay to future generations': NASA’s SpaceX Crew-12 arrives in Florida ahead of ISS launch

Astronauts assigned to SpaceX Crew-12 arrived at Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Friday (February 6) ahead of their upcoming launch to the International Space Station. “We arrived a couple of days ago and this is really starting to feel like we’re about to launch,” astronaut Jessica Meir said on February 8, adding that seeing the rocket and spending time with family had made the mission “very, very real.” Crew member Sophie Adenot said she was proud to be part of the long-running international partnership aboard the orbiting laboratory, calling the station “a very good symbol of what humanity can achieve when nations work together.”
